Acceptable use
The rules that keep fomo.ooo useful, legal and respectful to the people whose posts you answer.
Last updated 15 September 2026
1. Answer, don't advertise
fomo.ooo is built for joining conversations where your experience genuinely helps. Do not use it to blanket communities with the same pitch, or to promote anything illegal, misleading or harmful.
2. Follow each community's rules
Every place has its own rules on self-promotion, links and how often you may post. Read them and stay inside them. Where a platform forbids automated posting, post by hand.
3. Be honest about who you are
Say that you work on the thing you are recommending. Do not run several accounts to make one opinion look like many, and do not pose as an unrelated happy customer.
4. Stop when someone asks you to
If a person or a moderator asks you not to contact them again, hide the conversation and leave it alone. Never move a public reply into direct messages someone did not invite.
5. Stay within the law
You are responsible for the privacy, marketing and consumer-protection laws that apply to you and to the people you answer, including GDPR and rules on disclosing a commercial interest.
6. No platform abuse
Do not probe, scrape or attack our infrastructure, share accounts, or use fomo.ooo to spread malware, phishing or deceptive content.
7. We may suspend for violations
We may pause or close accounts that breach these rules, draw repeated complaints from communities, or put our access to a platform at risk.
