Who we are
fomo.ooo is operated by MRGN Ventures Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything privacy-related, email privacy@fomo.ooo and a human will reply.
What we collect
- Account data — name, work email, company and billing details.
- What you give us — your website, what you sell, who buys it, how your replies should sound, and the phrases and communities you ask us to watch.
- Public posts — the text, author handle, community and link of public posts that match what you watch, so you can read them and decide whether to reply.
- Connected accounts — when you sign in to a platform, the access we are granted and the account name, used only to read matching posts for you.
- Product usage — which posts you saved, hid or replied to, so the ranking improves.
How we use it
To find conversations worth answering, rank them, draft a reply in your voice, improve results from your feedback, provide support, take payment and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use what you tell us to train shared models.
Legal basis
For account and billing data, performance of our contract with you. For public posts, our legitimate interest in helping businesses answer questions asked in public, balanced against the rights of the people who posted — which is why any post or author can be removed on request.
Who processes data for us
Grouped by category, rather than listed in full:
- Cloud hosting and database providers
- The platforms and search services we read public posts from
- Providers that hold the sign-in you grant to a platform
- AI model providers used to rank posts and draft replies
- Payment processing
- Email delivery for account notices, analytics and error monitoring
Some providers are outside the UK/EEA; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as you have an account and up to six years afterwards where tax or legal records require it. Collected posts and saved people until you delete them or close your account, after which they are removed within 30 days. Anyone removed under a deletion request is added to a suppression list so their posts are not collected again.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, or ask for it in a portable format. Email privacy@fomo.ooo and we will respond within 30 days. If you posted publicly, we surfaced it to one of our users and you want it removed, use the do-not-sell and removal page. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and security
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and privacy-respecting analytics to understand product usage. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and we will tell affected users about any breach that presents a real risk.
This page is a plain-English template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it and replace the contact address before you rely on it publicly.
